Usher in the holiday season during the Holiday Celebration and Winter

Market at Main Street Square in Downtown Rapid City, from 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26th. The Holiday Celebration and Winter Market are free and open to all ages. The event is sponsored by Vast Broadband and Scull Construction Services.

Activities at the Square begin with a performance from Black Hills Figure Skating club at 2 p.m. and a second performance at 4:30 p.m. Shop the Winter Market from 2 to 6 p.m., which hosts a collection of local vendors where you are sure to find that perfect gift. Browse booths showcasing hand-crafted goods, such as custom wood carvings, ornaments, jewelry, home décor, wreaths, jams, honey, and salsas.

The holidays will come to life when Mayor Steve Allender leads the countdown to light the over 30-foot, 3,000-pound, blue spruce tree at promptly 4:56 p.m. Tune in for the live event and Tree Lighting Ceremony on NewsCenter1.
