Jewel Cave 200 Mile Celebration

Jewel Cave National Monument recently reached a milestone with 200 miles of passages discovered, and it currently ranks as the 3rd longest cave system in the world!  To celebrate, Black Hills Parks & Forests Association and the Paha Sapa Grotto are partnering with Jewel Cave NM to host a 200-mile Celebration and Reunion.  The event will take place Friday-Sunday, June 28-30, 2019 with most activities at Custer High School in Custer, SD.   
Celebration activities include world-class speakers discussing a variety of topics: 
•    Area geology and hydrology
•    History of Jewel Cave exploration
•    White Nose syndrome  
•    Cave mapping, exploration, and filming around the world

Early bird registration for all event activities is $75/adult, $40/youth 12 & under and ends April 30. Starting May 1, full registration is $85/adult, $50/youth
