Rushmore Music Festival

“Colors // Textures” The second program will represent the endless variety of textures and colors, all juxtaposed into one unforgettable evening! This program will feature Grammy-winning bandoneonist Hector del Curto performing a variety of concert tango repertoire, a World Premiere by RMF Composer-in-Residence Symeon Waseen, and a side-by-side performance of a Summer Academy student Avagail Hulbert with the RMF Faculty.

Programmed works include: Beethoven String Quartet No. 5 in A major, Op. 18, Waseen Piano Trio, Cassadó “Requiebros” for Cello and Piano, and various selections by Piazzolla and del Curto.
