St. Patrick's Scavenger Hunt
Custer State Park Celebrates St. Patrick’s Day with a Scavenger Hunt!!
On Saturday March 4, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. visitors to Custer State Park may participate in a scavenger hunt. The scavenger hunt will begin in the Visitor Center where participants may pick up their clue cards. The first card will be handed out at 12:00 p.m. and the last card will be handed out at 3:00 p.m. or until supplies run out. Visitors will be given clues to other locations in the park. Please Note: Driving and some walking is necessary to reach these other locations.
All ages are encouraged to participate in the scavenger hunt, but an adult will be required as a driver and clues are designed for participants 12 years of age or older. Participants will be required to visit each location, which will be verified by a Custer State Park volunteer or employee.
Prizes will be available to the first 100 people that complete the scavenger hunt.
There is no fee to participate in theses activities. However, a park entrance license is required to enter Custer State Park, including the Gordon Stockade area. An entrance license may be purchased at the Custer State Park Office from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. during the week or at the Visitor Center from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
